Taste PEI

PEI is known as Canada’s Food Island for good reason. Each of our four regions boasts incredible food and drink - fresh shellfish, new PEI potatoes, gourmet ice cream, craft beers, and much more. Bring your appetite wherever you go, because traditional lobster suppers, dairy bars, local markets, seaside restaurants, bakeries, breweries, bustling cafes, and more beckon at every turn.

Keep reading for more insights about each region’s foodscape and ‘must-tastes’.

PEI’s capital city pulls out all the stops when it comes to serving up epic food and drink experiences.

Our vibrant downtown is bursting with spots to eat, drink, and be merry. Midtown boasts two beloved craft breweries, while uptown is home to a lively farmers’ market. And if you’re here during one of our many culinary festivals, lucky you!
